Advantest MT series

Advantest's MT series is a configurable test platform designed specifically for power semiconductors, developed by Advantest's CREA company. It covers IGBTs, MOSFETs, diodes, thyristors, and wide bandgap devices such as SiC and GaN.

Its core advantages lie in its comprehensive process coverage and high-power testing capabilities. This series extends from wafer testing, bare die testing (KGD), and substrate testing all the way to package module testing. Static testing supports up to 10kV/10kA, and dynamic testing up to 6kV/18kA. The platform features a modular design, allowing users to configure purely static, purely dynamic, or a combination of both models as needed. It includes multiple sub-series such as the MT100 and MT200 to adapt to different scenarios from laboratory evaluation to large-scale mass production.
